Story telling and Architectural photography
I approach Architectural photography in the same way I do business stories - the photos need to be the visual evidence of the architect's, contractor's or client's message. If you want to promote that the project had a superior finish, then that's what I need to capture. And in order to do that, it really helps to know the back story to the project and your motivation for having fantastic photos - what design details or areas are you particularly proud of? were there any hurdles you overcame? what are the different elements you brought together? and of course how the spaces as well as the photos will be used. That's why I'm more than happy to meet on site to walk through the shoot. Or if time and access are an issue, site plans and a virtual tour will give me the information I need to better understand your project and how I can best capture it. You don't need to wait until the end of a project either, wow potential customers with a 'before' and 'after'.
