Story telling and Architectural photography
I approach Architectural photography in the same way I do business stories - the photos need to be the visual evidence of your message. As the architect, contractor, supplier or client, if you want to promote that the project had a superior finish or highlight bespoke details, then that's what I need to capture.
Getting the back story for Architectural photography
And in order to do that, it really helps to know the back story to the project and your motivation for having fantastic photos - what design details or areas are you particularly proud of? What hurdles were overcome? What are the different elements you brought together? How will the space as well as the photos be used? That's why I'm more than happy to meet on site to walk through the shoot. Or if time and access are an issue, site plans and a virtual tour will give me the information I need to better understand your project and how I can best capture it. You don't need to wait until the end of a project either, wow potential customers with a 'before' and 'after'.
